Adopt-A-Road is an anti-litter campaign. Make a positive impact on the appearances of Gresham's roads and our community by adopting a segment of roadway and helping keep it clean. This is a three-year commitment.

Training
The City provides:
- Mandatory safety training
- Safety equipment
- Litterbags
- Removal of the filled litterbags
Guidelines
- There is no cost or fees to the participants.
- The segment of road may be of the volunteers’ choosing or selected by the City.
- Assigned road segments vary in length, depending on the size of the volunteer group and the volume of anticipated litter.
- The adopting party may be a club, business, group of concerned citizens, or an individual.
- Participants must be at least 13 years old and in good health.
- There must be one adult at the work site for participants between the ages of 13 and 18.

The City will erect two signs identifying the adopting individual or group after the first successful clean up.
