Title II Program
Title II of the
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) prohibits states and local governments from discriminating on the basis of disability. The ADA protects individuals with disabilities in the areas of:
- Employment
- Government services
- Public accommodation
- Telecommunications
The ADA's goal is to promote equal access and full participation. The City of Gresham works to ensure that every program, service, benefit, activity and facility operated or funded by the City is accessible to people with disabilities.
