About the Community Development and Housing Subcommittee
- Advises City Council on community development and housing goals, policies, programs and budgets.
- Makes recommendations for the City's federal
Community Development Block Grant and
HOME funds, from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, to meet the needs of the city's low and moderate-income residents.
- Promotes greater public understanding of community development and housing matters for low- and moderate-income residents.
Meeting schedule
The committee meets as-needed approximately six times per year.
