  • Residential weekly garbage pick-up

    Rates vary depending on the size of your garbage cart.  All weekly pick-up rates include a 60-gallon yard debris and recycling cart.  

    • 20-gallon cart – monthly rate: $33.68
    • 35-gallon cart – monthly rate: $38.98
    • 60-gallon cart – monthly rate: $51.21
    • 90-gallon cart – monthly rate: $57.82
    Monthly garbage service pick-up

    Once-per-month collection of garbage plus weekly collection of a 60-gallon yard debris and recycling cart.

    • 35-gallon cart – monthly rate: $21.52
    Extra cart service

    Fees for additional carts vary depending on the size of the cart.

    • Second and any additional 20-gallon cart – monthly rate: $21.85
    • Second and any additional 35-gallon cart – monthly rate: $25.34
    • Second and any additional 60-gallon cart – monthly rate: $31.22
    • Second and any additional 90-gallon cart – monthly rate: $36.69

    Additional weekly yard debris can or cart pick up:

    • Each additional 60-gallon cart – monthly rate: $8.32
    Miscellaneous

    Haulers provide the cart.

    • On-call service, garbage only, one 35-gallon cart: $17.23
    • Occasional extra for garbage, per can or bag: $5.86 each
    • Weekly recycling-only service for non-garbage customers (excludes yard debris collection): $11.62/month
    • Yard debris extras (32-gallon can, kraft yard debris bag or bundle): $4.18 each
    • Weekly yard debris-only service for non-garbage customers; a one-year subscription paid in advance.
      60-gallon cart: $117.42/year
    • Yard debris exemption application fee: free
    • Yard debris exemption monthly credit: $2.85

  • Multi-family rates

    Including apartments, condominiums and mobile home parks.

    Bulk trash includes large items that don't easily fit in your regular trash or recycle bin, such as:

    Collection by regular garbage truck 

    • Appliances without refrigerant: $8.54
    • Bulky items other than appliances: $8.54

    Special collection of first item (item can't be handled by regular garbage truck)

    Compactor rates

    Rates apply if the customer furnishes the compactor

    • Up to 40 yards: $189.18 per haul 

    Collector furnishes the compactor 

    • The collector may charge a rental fee equal to the current rate the collector would pay on a lease-purchase plus any repair costs or such sum as agreed upon by the collector and customer. 
    • The collector may charge $2.92 per mile in excess of 18 miles round trip from the drop box customer to the disposal site. 
    Drop box rates/repeat service

    Repeat service rate for loose (non-compacted) garbage and recyclables.

    Monthly rental fee

    Collector furnishes drop box.

    • 10/20 yard: $76.31
    • 30 yard: $86.70
    • 40 yard: $97.12

    Hauling fee

    Charged each time drop box is picked up and taken to disposal facility.

    • 10/20 yard: $152.60
    • 30 yard: $152.60
    • 40 yard: $152.60

    One-time delivery charge

    • 10/20 yard: $43.26
    • 30 yard: $43.26
    • 40 yard: $43.26

    Disposal fee  

    The actual fee, charged by disposal or recycling facility, or credits received in the transfer of recyclable materials to a processor, will be credited to the customer.

    Plus a 10% margin on disposal fee (previously collected on hauling fee).

    Per-mile charge 

    A per-mile charge for mileage in excess of 18 miles round-trip from the drop box customer to the disposal site for loads containing materials that must be taken to a special disposal site.

    The per-mile charge is $2.92.

    Drop box rates, one-time/occasional

    Single or occasional rate for loose (non-compacted) garbage and recyclables.

    Rental fee per day

     Fee charged per drop box per day.

    • 10/20 Yard: $7.63
    • 30 Yard: $11.36
    • 40 Yard: $15.14

    Hauling fee  

    Includes pickup and use of drop box for 48 hours: $152.60 for all sizes

    Delivery charge 

    $43.26 for all sizes

    Disposal fee 

    The actual fee, charged by disposal or recycling facility, or credits received in the transfer of recyclable materials to a processor, will be credited to the customer.

    Plus, 10% margin on disposal fee (previously collected in hauling fee).

    Per-mile charge 

    The per-mile charge is $2.92.

    Upon approval of the City Manager or designee, a per mile charge for mileage in excess of 18 miles round-trip from the drop box customer to the disposal site for loads containing materials that must be taken to a special disposal site.  

    Medical and infectious waste service

    Collection of commercial boxes and tubes. Price includes box, liner, pick-up and disposal.

    23-30 gallon box or 17-31 gallon tub 

    • First box or tub per stop: $41.57
    • Second to fifth box or tub per stop: $38.95
    • Sixth or more boxes per stop: $33.62

    43-gallon tub 

    • First box or tub per stop: $43.38
    • Second to fifth box or tub per stop: $40.76
    • Six or more boxes per stop: $35.42

    23-30 gallon incinerate box

    • First box or tub per stop: $72.61
    • Second to fifth box or tub per stop: $70.13
    • Sixth or more boxes per stop: $65.07

    Sharps containers

    Customer brings container to designated when ready for disposal.

    • Four-quart container: $9.37, disposal charge
    • Eight-quart container: $18.75, disposal charge
    Recycle+ rates

    Recycle+ is a new residential collection service offered by garbage and recycling haulers. Recycle+ is an optional service to recycle materials not included in weekly recycling collection. Residents who choose this service are charged a monthly base fee and collection pick-up fee.
