    • An influx of visitors has left areas of Main City Park - near the Springwater Trailhead and Tsuru Island - with maintenance and clean-up issues.

    • Gresham Parks, Neighborhoods and Community Engagement, and Friends of Tsuru Island, are partnering to organize Main City Saturdays, a new volunteer opportunity for groups.

    • Business organizations, nonprofits, service groups, churches and clubs can volunteer one Saturday a year to maintain the beauty and community pride of Main City Park.

    • First impressions are great, whether jogging by, through or into Main City Park. Recent vandalism and trash have left the Springwater Trailhead looking less than its best.

    • In the spirit of volunteer teamwork and partnerships, Main City Park will continue to be a favorite place to play and explore.
